I was so excited when my 15 year old daughter, Emma told me she was going to her prom this year!! She’s one that doesn’t like the dances and being sociable. She’s a beautiful young lady that doesn’t know her full potential in everything she does. But I’m getting away from PROM!! The beautiful dresses, getting your hair done, new shoes!! I loved prom, I was actually prom queen my junior year back in 2000!! Well anyway Emma my daughter wants to wear a just a casual dress and I want her to feel comfortable, but I also want her to wear something that you would wear to prom. We are butting heads back and forth because she “says it’s just a dress mom” I just want her to turn heads when she walks in the dance!! How do I compromise with her??? Any suggestions!!!!
